The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC Academy, Karu, Abuja received a delegation from the Asset Recovery Inter-Agency Network West Africa, ARIN-WA led by Jacinto Canto, ARIN-WA's President on Friday, September 9, 2023.

Canto said the organization which has 17 countries including Nigeria looks forward to increasing its membership while seeking to add more laws that will aid faster recovery of stolen assets in Africa.

Among the delegation is the Assistant Secretary of ARINWA, Balet Charles who said the purpose of their visit to the EFCC Academy is to seek for collaboration in the area of training and capacity development for their members.

Deputy Commandant, Training, EFCC Academy, Babashani Umar Sanda representing the Commandant, Ayo Olowonihi, said “the EFCC Academy is ready to support the organization in the area of training and curriculum development”.

The visit was concluded with a tour of the Academy to see the facilities and capacity to deliver on the demands of the Network.
